The Yacht-Master was first introduced in 1992 as a more luxurious alternative to the Submariner. It features a slightly more curved case that is completely polished; the revolving bezel features raised numerals. In its current iteration, the case measures 40mm across, housing the 'Perpetual' caliber 3235. Reference 116622 was introduced in 2012 as a replacement for the 16622. The updates include slight refinements to the dial and bezel in terms of finish and fonts. The 116622 also features an updated bracelet, with a different fit of the end links and an updated clasp. In 2019 this was replaced by the 126622, which is powered by the latest 3235 movement.
