The Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5168 was introduced at BaselWorld 2017. At 42.2mm, its case is larger than that of the 5167. Ref. 5168G-001 has this case done in white gold and paired with a blue dial and matching strap. Paying tribute to the 20th anniversary of the Aquanaut launched in 1997, the men’s model is now available in the new 42.2-millimeter “Jumbo” format. It features an embossed dial subtly gradated from black to night blue. Decidedly masculine looks for this incarnation of casually elegant chic framed by a delicately satin-finished bezel. The white-gold case is water resistant to 30 m and protects the self-winding caliber 26‑330 S C movement.

Patek Philippe is the last Family-Owned Independent Genevan Watch Manufacturer. Iconic models are the Nautilus, Aquanaut, Calatrava, Cubitus, Ellipse, Twenty~4 and grand complications. Since 1839 without interruption, Patek Philippe has been perpetuating the tradition of Genevan watchmaking. As the last family-owned independent watch manufacturer in Geneva, it enjoys total creative freedom to entirely design, produce and assemble what experts agree to be the finest timepieces in the world – following the vision of its founders Antoine Norbert de Patek (1839) and Adrien Philippe (1845). The company name became Patek Philippe in 1851, and it is under this name that Patek Philippe created the first Swiss wristwatch ever made in 1868. Thanks to its exceptional know-how, Patek Philippe maintains a tradition of innovation hailed by an impressive repertoire of more than 80 patents.
