Rolex Sea-Dweller Reference 1665 COMEX . Rolex partnered with COMEX (Compagnie Maritime d'Expertises), a leader in deep-sea exploration, to test and develop watches for these extreme conditions. The partnership ran from 1970 to 1997, solving the helium problem for professional divers with its Helium Escape Valve (HEV) and enabling deeper, longer missions, with COMEX-issued models. Producing rare models (Refs. 1665, 16660, 16600) that are now among the most valuable Rolexes due to their history and rarity. Movement: Rolex Caliber 1575 and 1570 depending on the year ; Water Resistance: 610 Meters / 2,000 Feet . Please note that vintage watches may no longer be water resistant.
