Milgauss vintage

The Rolex Milgauss 1019 was introduced in 1960. Aimed at scientists and other professionals, the watch featured an increased protection to magnetic fields. Rolex made a few different references of the Milgauss from 1956 to 1988 and came out with the reference 1019 in 1960s. Rolex discontinued the 1019 in 1988 and brought back the Milgauss back into production in 2007 and is still offered in the catalog. Rolex offered this reference with either a silver or black dial and it was 38mm, which was different than other models in the collection.
