The Patek Philippe 5170P-001 was added to the 5170 family in 2017. It features a platinum case and a gradated blue dial with baguette diamond hour markers. The watch features the striking graduated blue dial, set with baguette diamond hour markers — a configuration reserved exclusively for the final production of the 5170, making it the rarest and most coveted version of the reference. The 39.4 mm platinum case retains sharp edges and crisp hallmarks, while the sapphire crystal caseback reveals the hand-wound caliber CH 29-535 PS, Patek Philippe’s first fully in-house chronograph movement.

Patek Philippe is the last Family-Owned Independent Genevan Watch Manufacturer. Iconic models are the Nautilus, Aquanaut, Calatrava, Cubitus, Ellipse, Twenty~4 and grand complications. Since 1839 without interruption, Patek Philippe has been perpetuating the tradition of Genevan watchmaking. As the last family-owned independent watch manufacturer in Geneva, it enjoys total creative freedom to entirely design, produce and assemble what experts agree to be the finest timepieces in the world – following the vision of its founders Antoine Norbert de Patek (1839) and Adrien Philippe (1845). The company name became Patek Philippe in 1851, and it is under this name that Patek Philippe created the first Swiss wristwatch ever made in 1868. Thanks to its exceptional know-how, Patek Philippe maintains a tradition of innovation hailed by an impressive repertoire of more than 80 patents.
