Rolex Day-Date II Ref. 218239 case size 40 mm comes with different dial variations. Presented in 2008, the Day-Date II, with its bigger case, builds on the exclusive heritage of the original Day-Date, the first watch to indicate the day of the week spelt out in full. Worn by world leaders, the Day-Date II’s arc-shaped day display is available in a wide choice of languages. Its ingenious engineering ensures that the day and date change simultaneously and instantaneously at midnight, in keeping with uncompromising Rolex quality standards. The Day-Date II was discontinued in 2015 in favor of the Day-Date 40.
