Nautilus Jumbo bi-color

The Patek Philippe Nautilus Jumbo Ref. 3700 or 3700/1 two tone or bi-color is a superb example of the iconic Gérald Genta design in one of its most distinctive configurations. The present reference 3700/1 (bi-color) is part of the first series produced from 1976 to 1982 with the main feature being the wider and straight 16mm bracelet made by “Gay Frères”, on the second series under reference 3700/11 produced from 1982 to 1990 the bracelet was narrower and tapered by 2mm. It is estimated that on an overall production of ± 4000 pieces only around 20% were made in steel/yellow gold making this a rarer model.
