The Rolex Submariner Date 116618 was introduced at BaselWorld 2008 and was the first Submariner to be fitted with the new style case and ceramic bezel insert; the Rolesor and stainless steel versions would follow in subsequent years. The present model features a black dial and insert; it is also available in blue.
