Launched in 1956, the Day-Date was the first watch to simultaneously display the day of the week and the date in separate windows on the dial. Rolex has never concealed its association with influential personalities, including many heads of state, earning this model the nickname “President”.
Reference 18206, produced from 1989 onwards, represents one of the most prestigious variations of the Day-Date, made exclusively in platinum. With a diameter of 36 mm, it features a smooth bezel - a discreet element that contrasts with the luxurious, exclusive character of platinum. This reference is equipped with the calibre 3155. This automatic movement incorporates the rapid day and date change function via the crown, a major evolution in terms of ease of use. It offers a power reserve of around 48 hours and is chronometer-certified.
