The Patek Philippe reference 3855 is distinguished by its atypical case: neither completely octagonal, nor elliptical, nor cushion-shaped, but a blend for a unique result. This model is equipped with a hand-wound mechanical movement, the caliber 215, which first appeared in 1974 and remains a cornerstone of Patek Philippe's ultra-thin movements and is still used in some models in current production.
